Dear Friends and Supporters: With great pleasure Beth Eden Baptist church (the oldest black Baptist Church in Alameda County) invites you to celebrate our 125th Anniversary. Since 1890, more than a century ago, Beth Eden has been committed to empowering people through teaching and sharing the word of God. Our commitment, dedication and services to the community will continue to blaze trails by changing one life at a time. We are inviting you to celebrate this milestone with us by placing an advertisement in our Souvenir Book. It will encompass memorials, tributes, acknowledgements, special accomplishments, advertisements, our history and others (portraits, poems, words of inspiration, etc). This is an opportunity to introduce your business or services to a vast audience and show your support for this very important milestone.
Beth Eden Baptist Church extends a welcome to you. Whether you are looking for a long-term relationship or you are temporarily in this area and need “watch care”, we may be what you need for spiritual health.
Keep up to date on what is happening in the church and pass along to your friends and family!
Do you need someone to intercede for you? Is there something on your heart that you need help with? Let God help you through prayer. If you need to contact someone in person, please call us directly at (510) 444-1625.
Very appealing, is that many families live within walking distance of the church. We have numerous programs geared to the immediate community including support for nearby elementary, junior and high schools, tutorial programs, cooking classes, free hot meals, grocery distribution, etc. We conduct summer programs and Easter Sunrise and Thanksgiving Day services with churches of other denominations within a three-mile radius of each other.
We would be happy to have you visit and/or talk with one of our administrative staff about ways to become involved in the Beth Eden ministries. At the heart of all we do are the words of Jesus “Go ye...teach all nations, baptize in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost...” (Matthew 28:19 & 20).
